House museum of Dzerzhinsky family

There is an exposition dedicated to the history of Dzerzhinsky family on the first floor

The exposition contains:

  • Dzerzhinovo farm layout
  • Emblem and a family tree of Dzerzhinsky family
  • Pictures of Ioda estate, Feliks’s maternal grandmother and grandfather - Ignatius and Kazimira Januszewski  
  • Pictures of  Feliks’s parents and siblings – Aldona, Jadviga, Stanislaw, Ignatius and Wladislaw
  • Chair and books from Dzerzhinsky’s house
  • book of newborns in 1876-1883 from the Derevniany roman-catholic church whith a note about the birth of Feliks Dzerzhinsky   
  • remains of burned things such as door locks, pieces of molten glass, the key to the entrance doors, which were found during the restoration of the foundations of the building in Dzerzhinovo

On the second floor the exposition tells about the life and work of Feliks Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky, where you can find his memorial items such as his work table which he used being a student of Vilna gymnasium I; table lamp; ink set; case; suitcase; umbrella; books; awards.

Souvenirs and gifts from guests who have visited the museum are placed in a separate room.
